When Goliath was in Ireland: “Dáithí agus Goliath”

Dáithí agus Goliath
An Irish film adaptation of the David and Goliath story premieres at the CIT Cork School of Music on Saturday 24 March. Dáithí agus Goliath, by Gerald O’Brien, is a 17-minute-long animation that resets the story in Celtic Ireland.

The film begins when Daithí returns home to find his house abandoned and family missing. He thinks his family may have gone off without him as they often do.  In fact, they have been kidnapped by a foreign slaver named Goliath. It is up to Dáithí to save his family from the cruel clutches of Goliath.
