Asbury Theological Seminary: proud to include Remnant of Giants in the syllabus

After long being viewed as something of a niche biblical studies blog, appealing only to an assortment of sci-fi geeks, transhumanists, new world order conspiracy theorists, reception historians, and emos, Remnant of Giants has achieved crossover appeal in the  mainstream biblical studies charts. We were ranked the seventeenth most popular blog in August 2011, according to The Biblioblog Top 50.

What’s more, Remnant of Giants received a number of shout outs from James McGrath, in his three-part epic carnival of biblical studies blogging in August 2011: see Episode 1, Episode 2, and Episode 3. Have a read of his three-part carnival, which provides an excellent picture of the state of biblical studies blogging.

With popularity such as this, it is little wonder that Asbury Theological Seminary has made our handy guide, “How Do You Know When You’re Having Sex With a Fallen Angel?” required reading for their Old Testament Introduction, Exegesis of Genesis, and Dynamics of Spiritual Warfare classes. Onwards and upwards, higher up and further in!
