“Intifada” by Ska-p: “Who could ever imagine … that David turned out to be Goliath?”

This performance of “Intifada” by ska-punk band Ska-p is well worth a listen:

Ska-p - Intifada (click me and I play some harcore ska - straight outta Vallecas)

… Dead, dead! In whose name?
Dead, dead! In the name of Israel
Dead, dead! In whose name?
Dead, dead! In the name of Yahweh

Ohhhhhhhhh! Who could imagine
Oh, oh! That David would become Goliath?
… uoh, oh, oh! Intifada, intifada
uoh, oh, oh! intifada, liberation!

Don’t get me wrong, I am an atheist and do not believe in any god.
Nor do I differentiate people by their race, culture, or their shit religion
I only condemn oppression, injustice, and the abuse of power
Palestine is subjected to the toughest wars, the opulence of Israel …

or, straight outta Vallecas:

… Muertos Muertos, ¿en nmbre de quién?
Muertos Muertos, de Israel
Muertos Muertos, ¿en nmbre de quién?
Muertos Muertos, de Yavé

¡Ohhhhhhhhhh! ¿Quién podía imaginar?
¡Oh, oh! Que David fuese Goliat
… ¡uoh, oh, oh! intifada, intifada,

      • I mostly like em for their political commentary, “ska revival isn’t cool you stoopid fuck”. Also, after all this time, why do my comments still have go through moderation? I mean, I let you go bareback on BY… balance the seesaw, punk.
